COTTON WITH ATTITUDE
VATTER stands for organic cotton underwear that feels good and looks anything but ordinary.
We combine everyday comfort with distinctive design: clean basics, bold colours, expressive patterns and thoughtful details. Made for every day, but never generic.
SINCE 2013
VATTER was founded in 2013 by Thomas Vatter and Marcus Faulwasser. It began with a simple belief: organic cotton underwear should not only reflect a more considered approach – it should also look great, fit well and be something people genuinely enjoy wearing.
That idea became an underwear brand with attitude.
Today, our collection includes underwear for women and men alongside selected essentials such as T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts and hoodies. Underwear remains at the heart of VATTER: after all, it is the product closest to us and to you.
DESIGN WITH CHARACTER
At VATTER, you should never have to choose between comfort and style.
Our designs range from timeless everyday favourites to expressive styles featuring distinctive colours, patterns and details. Some are subtle, while others make a statement. What connects them is our commitment to comfort, quality and a recognisable look of their own.
We create products that are not designed for a passing trend, but to be worn and enjoyed for as long as possible.
ORGANIC COTTON AS OUR FOUNDATION
Organic cotton forms the basis of our entire collection. We particularly value it for its soft feel against the skin and because its cultivation follows different requirements from conventional cotton farming.
Depending on the required function and fit, some products may contain additional fibres – such as elastane for flexibility and shape retention. The complete material composition is listed transparently on every product page.
The majority of our collection is made together with our long-standing production partner in Türkiye. Our hoodies are manufactured in Portugal.
RESPONSIBILITY WITHOUT BIG PROMISES
Fashion uses resources and affects people and the environment. No single slogan can make those effects disappear.
We therefore aim to communicate clearly and transparently about the decisions we make: from organic cotton as our material foundation and long-term production partnerships to recycled packaging and CO₂e-reduced shipping with DHL GoGreen Plus.
We do not see responsibility as a finished status, but as an ongoing process. We question existing practices, look for improvements and communicate openly about what we do – without promising more than we can substantiate.
