ORGANIC COTTON AS OUR FOUNDATION
All VATTER products are based on organic cotton. It feels soft and comfortable against the skin and has been an essential part of our collections since the company was founded.
Depending on the product and its intended function, additional fibres may be used. In close-fitting underwear, for example, a small amount of elastane provides flexibility, shape retention and a comfortable fit. The complete material composition is listed on each product page.
TRUSTED PRODUCTION PARTNERS
The majority of our collection is made by our long-standing production partner in Türkiye. Our hoodies are manufactured in Portugal.
We have been working with our main production partner for many years. This continuity matters to us: it enables close communication, consistent quality and the joint development of our products.
We do not want to reduce our partners to certificates or production figures. What matters to us is a long-term relationship built on quality, reliability and mutual trust.
OUR PACKAGING
As standard, we wrap orders in high-quality tissue paper made from recycled material. Selected products can also be packed in a VATTER box upon request.
Our boxes are made entirely from recycled material and printed using vegetable-based inks. If you no longer have a use for them, the box and tissue paper can be placed in the appropriate paper recycling.
SHIPPING WITH DHL GOGREEN PLUS
We ship our orders with DHL GoGreen Plus.
Through this service, DHL supports measures designed to reduce CO₂e emissions within its German logistics network. These measures include the use of alternative fuels and new transport technologies.

ONE TREE PER ORDER
For every order placed in our online store, we finance the planting of one tree through Tree-Nation.
The trees are planted through different projects around the world. The project supported may change over time. Our previous plantings and the projects they support can be viewed in our public VATTER forest on Tree-Nation.
Financing the planting of a tree does not automatically make the manufacture or shipping of our products climate-neutral. It is an additional contribution through which we support tangible environmental and social work.
OUR APPROACH
Responsibility is not a finished status for us. Materials, production, packaging and shipping can always be questioned, reviewed and improved.
We therefore aim to communicate clearly and transparently about the concrete steps we take – while deliberately avoiding broad or unsubstantiated promises.
